PROS:
- Uses normal phones
- Good rates (3.3c/min to North America / many "western" nations)
- excellent quality
CONS:
- requires slightly more "dialing" to place a call (i.e, call a "local access number" first, then provide the phone number you wish to connect to).
EXAMPLES AND COMMENTS:
GoldLine D-Call
- must sign up and register at least one primary phone
- calls are billed per-minute, no connection fee etc.
- 1-800 calling card style access available for ~10c/min extra
- payment model is via "pay before you use" with your visa typically. Balance never expires, no management fees etc.
